Google Pixel 7 and 7 pro in Nigeria will excite a lot of the Pixel fans in the country. This is because Google (in my opinion) did a pretty decent job keeping the price under a thousand United States Dollars ($1,000).
Now I’m not going to say I’m happy Google isn’t producing flagships that compete with other manufacturers like Apple and Samsung.
Let’s just say Google gave up on that race and decided to settle for satisfying their loyal user-base and any new user that may get enticed by the Google Pixel Ecosystem.
Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro in Nigeria?
That said, you might be wondering if you’re in Nigeria, do you really need a Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro in Nigeria?
Short answer yes. Hold on, keep reading and I’ll tell you why.
The Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro are similar in many ways. But I’ll start with the differences.
Difference between the Google pix 7 and 7 pro
You basically have a few major differences. You’ve got slightly more battery life, slightly better macro focus, slightly larger screen size and quality, slightly brighter screen, more Zoomed captured image quality, and more RAM to handle more apps when you go for the Pixel 7 Pro.
Now, let us ‘dive-in’ and know the details.
The screen sizes are different with the Pixel 7 have a smaller screen size. The quality too differs. So the pro looks a little sharper and feels a little smoother.
Not like this does much. You’ll only or mostly feel the difference when you use an app that utilises the feature i.e. Netflix, YouTube, games like Call of Duty, Mortal Kombat etc.
The Pixel 7 doesn’t have one but the Pixel 7 Pro does. That’s simply because it’s a ‘pro’ professional version of the flagship. For professional captures. Meaning you can add more detail to your shots and captures.
Selfie lens or Front facing camera
Yea…just a slightly wider selfie camera on the pixel 7 pro than the pixel 7, that’s all. Everything else is the same.
You don’t get 512GB storage on the Pixel 7. Only on the Pixel 7 pro you get all 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage options.
Battery size and focus differ just a little bit. However it’s not significant to me as both give you 24 hrs use per single charge and the Pixel 7 does a pretty decent focus on objects you capture.
Do you need any of these phones in Nigeria?
Yes you do. If you can ‘cough out’ over $980 in purchase, and shipping then you can take a step further in your journey to owning one.
That’s a huge difference when you bring in Apple and Samsung. Though the other flagships offer roughly better performance and video captures than the Pixel.
If you also want to capture quality photos moments and videos with a flagship phone more affordable than the iPhone and Samsung’s S and Z series, then this is so far your best bet.
